Your Readership – How An Audience Influences Your Writing
Well, let it be known that you cannot please everyone. Today, I woke up, flipped on the computer and read my emails. And what do I have, an email from a PhD professor from Dallas TX. The gentleman wanted to write me on Sunday Morning to tell me that my grammar is inadequate (atrocious) and that he is a PhD English Literature Professor. Why would he bother, that’s silly? I agree my grammar is not perfect, I am work in progress, however, that was a rather nasty email if you ask me.
5) Make sure that the rollers are cleaned with a damp lint free cloth to remove paper -dirt, oil from your fingers and free the rollers of already present bits of torn paper.
Coated paper does not necessarily mean gloss, since a coated paper can also have a matte finish. Uncoated papers can vary from the smoothest finish (machine finish) to a slightly toothy finish (vellum, antique, and eggshell) to the embossed finishes (felt, linen, laid, ribbed, and lined finish).
In this area of his college application essay writer life, Max had lost sight of his power to achieve. He had relinquished his creative spark and had replaced it with despair and expectations of failure. He had believed in math failure for so long that it had become his reality.
Students have one professional edit, make changes, and think the work should still be perfect. It’s not and even one change or non-acceptance of even a small part of an edit can mess up a perfectly good edit. So if you are looking for anything close to perfection, pay for repeated professional edits. As I always try to remind students: writing is a dynamic process and not a static process. Layer by layer; step by step.
On day one of class make a friend. This person can become your back up should you miss a class and may even be a great study partner. Use them as a resource for swapping notes or preparing for the big exam. Take good notes. Recording the lecture is a really smart idea. Often the professor will augment your textbook with valuable information that you can only get in the lecture hall. Later you can replay the recording and take detailed notes. It is also helpful to listen to the recordings as you are driving or in your dorm room just relaxing!
Create an Outline. Creating an outline is one of those things that “goes without saying”. You may assume that everyone does this, but quite often students do not take the time to outline their work before writing. Outlining your work will give you the ability to “plan your thoughts” in an effort to have consistency throughout your writing. Start your writing process by creating an outline that compiles a list of all of your thoughts to be included in the paper. This can even be done prior to your actual research. It will help you to have direction in the type of research you will need to conduct. Your outline can begin by summarizing a short introduction and then proceed to list your thoughts.
This program discusses how it is not a good idea to overexert yourself. While it’s always beneficial to exert some effort, too much is just as bad as none at all. Too much effort leaves you drained and filled with negative emotions. This comes from the fact that you’re tired and have nothing left to give. It’s all about exerting force and recharging your batteries. Your Magical Divine Experiment by Luanne Oakes, phd teaches you how to strike a positive balance between work and play.
Note – I see a lot of emphasis today put on the reduction of printed materials for the sake of saving trees and the world’s forests. A noble gesture and one to be applauded. One of the great things about paper is that its primary raw material – wood – is renewable. The paper and forest products industry replenishes more that it takes and ensures the sustainability of our forests by planting 1.7 million trees every single day, more than three times what is harvested.
The clearer we can get our message through to our internet readers, the easier it is to sell to them and therefore make more money! That’s why you shouldn’t use professional and proper English in internet marketing all the time.
The reality is that parents are their child’s first teacher and if parents are stumbling through the educational maze they will not do a good job of making sure they are providing the best education possible for their child. Parents must know what questions to ask and what answers should be received. No longer can we rest on our laurels, work fifty or sixty hours a week and expect others to assure our student’s achievement. Knowledge is power, and that has never been more true than today.
