RnJames Beard Award-profitable chef and cookbook creator Kwame Onwuachi has included a great deal of floor considering that his “Top Chef” look in 2015, from opening restaurants in Washington, D. C. to joining Food stuff and Wine as an govt producer in Los Angeles.
Now, the Bronx indigenous is again in New York, and his new restaurant, Tatiana, By Kwame Onwuachi, is taking the Upper West Aspect by storm. Located inside Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Corridor, Tatiana (named after Onwuachi’s sister) opened in November.
Below, Onwuachi can take the notion of “elevated consolation meals” and transforms it with New York specificity, referencing the community classics he grew up on like chopped cheeses, Chinese takeout, and Cosmic Brownies.
